I'm still running and mountain biking in this weather. Just have to stay hydrated.
Most of the dead were homeless. There's been a big outreach to make sure they're getting enough water.
To me, doesn't feel any hotter than it normally is at this time of year.

I never knew the military asked soldiers to hump things.
And in my defense before everyone comes down:
1. That statement, despite what it sounds like, was correct... sorta.
2. I know Arizona is a desert also. But I'm willing to bet the other desert was hotter... right?
3. "Hump- To lug, carry" There are several military-esque terms that sound dirty, but aren't. Case in point: Penetration Bombs.

Beat ya to it.
By a matter of mere seconds. A full minute hadn't even passed.
Oh, and you don't know... it could've been the other way around.
It was definitely hotter in the Middle East than it is here.

all this talk of humping and sacks has me all hot an' bothered!
I used to work out in that heat before I became disabled.(No, not from the heat, just the assholes I worked for)
Nothing like the temps on the Sky Harbor tarmac!
We recorded 145 degrees out there one day from all the reflective heat and jet blast..
They have to ground the planes when the official temp passes 118 degrees. Fun stuff.
i went night swimming yesterday in my pool and it felt like a friggin jacuzzi/hot tub...
